Art Deco (1920-1939) Czech Amber Glass Filigree Screw-Back Earrings (#36)
These antique screw-back drop/dangle earrings are truly a lovely Czech design with the amber glass and ornate filigree.
In each earring there is a pin w/ a head inserted in a hole in the amber glass. It is then threaded through the gold-tone filigree and then connected to the screw-back.
So the filigree is not merely glued on the top of the glass but is a separate piece from the glass. Also, there are a few bubbles in one of the glass pieces, but I think this adds to the individuality of these earrings. (see the left earring on the 2nd & last pic)
* Condition: Great! Any wear commiserate with age.
* Mark: "Czechoslovakia" is printed on each screw-back.
