Antique CAO Cigar Humidor

Description

This is an elegant CAO Humidor made of solid cherry wood and lined with cedar. It has a removable, and two CAO humidifiers. It is large, 18 inches long, 10.5 inches wide, and 7 inches tall. It has brass hinges and handles on each end plus a lock, it is missing the key but replacements are available online. It is in excellent condition.There is a brass plate on the inside of the lid with the CAO trademark and words, "Handmade in the USA." It has the original finish, very high gloss, which shows off the beautiful Cherry wood grain. CAO began making humidors and marketing tobacco and cigars in the sixties and they are still in business today. This humidor, we believe came from the 60's-70's but we could be wrong. We were unable to find any identical to it. We did find that the early CAO Humidors were very well made by American craftsman in the Nashville area. This one is sort of a work of art and is a beautiful box, not only for cigars, but for any man cave display and storage of small treasures, etc. It would be a wonderful, one of a kind gift for a deserving guy.
