Famous gangster bootlegger Jack "Legs" Diamond Original Unpubished Photograph!  A one of a kind vintage black & white photo measuring 3 1/2 by 2 5/8 inches. This was taken in Garnerville N.Y circa 1928. Legs Diamond is in the center. On the right is my grandfather, on the left is my uncle. My grandfather told me when I was a child, that he and his bother worked for Legs Diamond in the late 1920s during probition. He told me he was 19 his brother was 21. My grandfather was born in Garnerville NY in 1909. So the year this photo was taken would have been in 1928. At that time they had to inforce mafia bootlegging in upstate NY were they lived, paying calls on any bar owner who refused to handle their output. True story. I found this in a box of photos that I got after my grandmother passed in 1994. I always thought my grandfather was telling a tall tale, until I found this photo. No writing on back. years old.  A historic photograph. Obviously the gun and smile face will not appear on photo.
A real deal collectors piece, and a historic unpublished photo!! Amazing.
